The meanings of The media worlds
Abstract
Because books are like men, according to Ortega y Gasset, their circumstances must be taken into account. The review of the book The worlds of the media: readings about the production of mediatic meanings, compiled by Professor Antônio Fausto Neto, follows somewhat the tone of the introduction of the collection, articulating, or rather, shedding light on the various articles based on the mood or vein of the analysis of the discourse and of the mediatic languages. The 12 articles that make up the book are presented briefly, after which emphasis is placed on some aspects of the circumstances that are part of the production environment of the referred work.
