Hormonal mechanisms in body weight regulation and terapheutic implications

Abstract

The present paper deals with the mechanisms of apetite control,either central or peripheric and the main drugs that are beingdeveloped to treat obesity. Considering obesity as a neuro-chemicalrecidivant disease only treatments that are efficacious on the longterm are acceptable.
