The article analyzes the current state of "green infrastructure" on the example of such countries as the USA and Germany and the possibilities concerning its implementation in Ukraine, since this concept exists only abroad. The definitions of the "green infrastructure", cited by the United States Environmental Protection Agency and the Federal Office for the Environment of Germany, and the concept of "green infrastructure", according to which the model of "green" city is characterized by minimizing the negative environmental impact which is based on the principles of sustainable development of the territory, are considered. The main components of the city's "green infrastructure", such as: natural habitat, energy / energy flows, etc. are presented. It is shown which elements, the main ones being "green" transport, "green" routes and corridors and "green" construction, this infrastructure should include. It is revealed which goals are needed to achieve "green" streets. It is substantiated that the principles on which "green infrastructure" should be based are health and quality of life; "green culture construction"; climate adaptation and sustainability; stability and efficiency of resources use; protection and development of biodiversity and nature; economic development. The areas of the so-called "green areas" in Germany on the example of Berlin and cities of Ukraine in general, namely the areas of parks, green spaces, forests, waterfronts et al. are graphically illustrated. Green technologies in the USA, Germany and Ukraine are considered. Recommendations concerning the development of "environmental infrastructure" in Ukraine, which means a set of organizational, technical, socio-economic and socio-environmental measures to create safe living conditions for the people and the city as a whole, have been made. The term "environmental infrastructure" is synonymous with the concept of "green infrastructure", so it should be developed, taking into account the experience of the countries concerned, some of these recommendations are: green roof arrangement, construction of "solar roads", extension of green areas, joining the Hyperloop project vacuum trains.
