Les TIC dans le contexte universitaire tunisien : quels usages pour quelles formes d’innovation didactique ? Le cas des étudiants de français
Abstract
Analyzing the use and non-use of ICT in the Tunisian university context is the subject of this exploratory research. The approach followed aims to bring out students’ representations about the integration of new technologies in the teaching/learning of French, through the questionnaire and the focus group. It is a large-scale investigation which is part of a Franco-Maghrebi project (PHC) on the role of ICT in the teaching/learning of French in higher education. First of all, it is a question of taking stock of the Tunisian State’s policy regarding the integration of ICT in education in general and in universities in particular. A second part will be devoted to a critical assessment of the use and non-use of ICT by Tunisian students. The third part focuses on the use of ICT exclusively in French classes. The main analysis concerns the contributions of ICT to educational innovation in the development of French curricula, the obstacles to be overcome and the possible solutions to better adapt international proposals to the Tunisian context, relating to the integration of ICT to better teach the foreign languages.
