System of Volcanic activity

Abstract

A comparison is made among the systems of B. G.<br />Escher (3), of R. W. van Bemmelen (1) and that of the author (4). In this<br />connection, on the basis of Esclier's classification, the terms of "constructiv<br />e " and "destructive" eruptions are introduced into the author's system and<br />at the same time Escher's concept on the possible relation between the depth<br />of magma-chamber and the measure of the gas-pressure is discussed briefly.<br />Three complementary remarks to the first paper (4) 011 the subject of system<br />of volcanic activity are added.
