The paper presents the results of examination of 40 children with a diagnosis of rotavirus infection. We examined and analyzed the clinical course of rotavirus infection depending on the genotype in polymorphism C > T at position 13910 of lactase gene (LCT). It is found that the most severe course of infection is associated with genotypes that are responsible for lactose intolerance — C/C-13910 and C/T-13910.
