COVID-19 has left countless psychological consequences on society and anxiety is one of them. This bibliographic review links this public health issue with psychological flexibility, a key theoretical construct on the Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). It concludes in a need of focusing on enforcing and keep expanding evidence-based therapies for prevention and treatment of anxiety generated by the pandemic.
