Abstract
Herbart and the rhetoric of the lesson: a new didactic horizon. This article aims to compare ancient and modern techniques relating to the way which teachers organize their educational communication in. It analyzes the theories already known around the lesson but it provides, at the same time, a new educational perspective based on the latest research in the field of rhetoric. It also proposes to help teachers better understand communicative practice, to develop new approaches for teaching communication and to define the current pedagogical positions on the matter
