Noise on ship's

Abstract

This paper discusses sources of shipboard noise. Effects of some specific measures of shipboard noise control such as stern wells are described. Some additional measures of ship compartments acoustical treatment are explained as well as the noise criteria applied to accommodation areas on a patrol boat, noise control approaches, treatments and achieved levels.
