Child growth and development are processes dependent on the action of hereditary and environmental factors. In the category of environmental factors, special attention must be paid to physical activity and nutrition. Material and methods: The study was carried out on 111 young people aged between 13 and 15 years. Physical development, time spent on physical activity and eating habits were assessed. Results and Discussions: Body height and body weight are mostly at the average level. Harmonious physical development is present in 60.36% young people, a positive result taking into account the age group at which the growth rate is still intense. Our attention is drawn by the 13.51% of young people who practice physical activity for less than 15 minutes every day; a result that is insufficient. Dominant milk intake is 2-3 times (33.33%) and sweets 4-7 times (59.45%) per week. Conclusions: Special attention should be paid to nutrition as the increase in physical activity must be associated with adequate nutritional support.
