Employability versus overqualification Mismatch between training and employment in the laboral trajectories of young graduates in Spain
Abstract
At a time when the European directives on employment raise the issue of youth low employability as the product of a training mismatch and of human capital of wor-kers front the influence of technology on the economy and work processes, the number of young European graduates employed in jobs that do not require a higher educational level represented 24% in 2016. In the case of Spain, the phenomenon of overqualification reaches 40% of these young people.
