The effect of gibberellin on seed germination, morphometric parameters and accumulation of heavy metals in plants seedling of Sinapis alba L. and Rumex patientia L. x Rumex tianschanicus A. Los. under growth on the water extracts of rock dumps substrates was studied. It was found that Rumex patientia х R. tianschanicus seedlings were more resistant compared with seedlings of mustard Sinapis alba. It was found that gibberellin improved or reduced the absorption of certain heavy metals by plants, changed their heavy metals accumulation properties. Rumex patientia х R. tianschanicus seedlings accumulate less content of heavy metals than Sinapis alba seedlings. However, Rumex patientia х R. tianschanicus has 5–7 times greater underground mass and has 7–18 times greater root system at natural conditions. This allows using it as a phytoremediator plant due to large mass of bodies. It was found that Rumex patientia х R. tianschanicus and Sinapis alba seedlings accumulate Copper, Lead and Cadmium. This allows using these plants on the polluted soils, and they could be recommended for planting along the highways for heavy metals accumulation.
