A decade of gains in public health emergency preparedness and response at points of entry

Abstract

This article is an overview perspective on border public health emergency preparedness efforts and the gains made in the last decade. It calls for additional efforts in evaluating border public health planning activities, sharing lessons learned and publishing border intervention data.
