Abstract

The application of the dialectical method contributes decisively to clarify the cognitive and hermeneutical perspectives of scientific research which gives consistency to the approach of philosophy in science and its epistemological foundations. Epistemology is centered the particular object of research, the epistemological foundations provide the researcher with the perspective from which the object can reflect on their knowledge, the results of that knowledge, the way to obtain it, the logic of same, its value and scope, in order, from criteria developed by the epistemological analysis of its object. The purpose of this paper is to allude to the epistemology of the social sciences, while particular sector of scientific knowledge, for its distinctive peculiarities, takes on a specific quality in its determinations, including the remarkable character of factual or empirical sciences have aimed at the study of man in his social interaction.
