La sección Aúrea, estructura numérica de Leandro y Hero de Boscán

Abstract

The author of this article propases the structure of "Leandro and Hero" by Boscán through a numerical cq;de: The Golden Section. This structure of numerical composition is widely spread on the plastic arts from Antiquity to the Reinaisance. In the classic literature, it has been proposed as a system of numerical articulation on the works by Horace and Virgil. Through the translations done by Fray Luis de León on the Virgil' s works it seems credible that in the 16th century their numerical composition was known. The originality of the article rests on the confirmation for the first time of such a proportion in Boscan's work although previously other numerical codes have already been pointed out by A. Armisén.
