La Trinidad inmutable se hace carne en la Palabra: Dios en diálogo con el hombre. Elementos de teología patrística hasta Calcedonia
Abstract
La realidad del misterio de la Encarnación, que tiene en cuenta el sentido de la carne, referida a Cristo y a la criatura, la encontramos tanto en la revelación bíblica como en la posterior reflexión de la Iglesia. Los Padres de los primeros siglos, especialmente hasta llegar al concilio de Calcedonia, demostraron que la totalidad del misterio trinitario, revelado en el Verbo encarnado, es la razón de ser de la Iglesia; comprendieron que el misterio de Dios es unitario y que no se puede dividir, Proponemos como lectura sistemática del evento de la encarnación, una mirada crítica y razonada sobre la interpretación patrística, de modo que la teología contemporánea pueda acercarse, de un modo más dinámico y vivo, al misterio de Dios, uno y trino, en su decisión eterna de colmar al hombre en la totalidad de su ser. Abstract: The reality of mystery of incarnation, referring to Christ and to the created being, is found both in biblical revelation and in the continuing reflection of the Church, even up to our own time. Up to the Council of Chalcedon, Patristic writers of the first centuries affirmed that the totality of the Trinitarian mystery, revealed in the Incarnate Word, is the focus of the life of the Church, it is her soul and the reason for her being. Consequently, in confessing God’s intimate and dialogical relationship with humankind, the human person attains salvation. Patristic authors understood that the mystery of God cannot be divided. This article proposes a critical and rational view of patristic interpretation, as a systematic reading of the event of the Incarnation. In this way contemporary theology can approach, in a more dynamic and vital way, the mystery of God, One and Three, in God’s eternal decision to fill the human person in the totality of her or his essence.
