Membranoproliferative glomerulonephritis is a common cause of chronic glomerulonephritis in older children and adolescents. Patients may present with microscopic hematuria with or without mild proteinuria with nephrotic syndrome or hypertension with severe glomerulonephritis, accompanied by decreased glomerular filtration rate. Here we reported two cases presented with severe proteinuria and renal failure successfully treated with pulse steroid and mycophenolate mofetil.
