OPTIMIZING THE USE OF TRAFFIC LIGHTS ON THE EXAMPLE OF MOSCOW

Abstract

Presence of traffic on the road makes an imbalance in traffic. In a modern city suchas Moscow, not do without them, but the need for their use is not always justifi ed, as there moments during the day, when their presence is not appropriate and just goesto participants in the movement delays atintersections. This article describes an algorithm to enable or disable traffi c lights as they are needed.
