A method for expressing planar linkage with Leastsquare was presented,based on the concepts of "Basic Coordinates" and "Link Constraint Equations". So the geometric constraint solving was transformed into nonlinear equations solving and improved initial value sensitivity by setting visualization constructed results and simulated results as the initial value.Finally,a general planar linkage simulation software based on Matlab/GUI is developed,and several examples are presented to show the simulation results.
