The evolution of regulatory framework of informatization of universities research libraries in Ukraine in the end of XX – the beginning of XXI century
Abstract
The article examines the history of Regulatory and Statutory Support of information research libraries of higher school in our country during a period ranging from 80’s of the twentieth century to the present. The following task were resolved to achieve the research objective: there were clarified source base and historiography of the research, defined basic facts of Regulatory and Statutory Support of informatization of the research libraries of universities in Ukraine at a certain historical period, defined the basic stages of the legal maintenance of informatization of the research libraries in higher educational institutions of Ukraine during the specified period. In the historical sequence of acceptance and introduction, there are analyzed main provisions of state regulations that were intended to regulate the basic laws of research libraries of higher educational establishments in Ukraine. The basic steps of creating a legal framework of libraries of higher school: at the first stage (late 80’s to late 90-s of XX century) there were adopted regulations on solving strategic problems of informatization of Ukrainian society, which became a prerequisite for the development of informatization of Ukrainian libraries; at the second phase (started in the late 90-s of XX century) were developed legal principles and standards of informatization of research of libraries.
