Fenomenul exodului de creiere și migrația de elită: migrația medicilor români în Franța

Abstract

This article deals with a topical issue, especially in the context of the current pandemic: elite migration in the case of the Romanian doctors. The study focuses on the migration of Romanian doctors in France, taking into account the creation of the contextual framework for certain concepts through which this phenomenon is operationalized, such as: brain drain, elite migration and rejection and attraction factors (push and pull) in this phenomenon.In the present study, the authors aim to make a transition from migration theories to labor migration, reaching the phenomenon of brain drain and what elite migration means.
