Keypoint detectors and texture analysis based comprehensive comparison in different color spaces for automatic detection of the optic disc in retinal fundus images

Abstract

Article Highlights Optic disc detection is an important prerequisite for the diagnosis of retinal diseases. Accurate detection of the optic disc is very difficult because of eye diseases, light, and noise. Keypoints play an important role in order to detect optic disc in the retinal fundus image.
