The features of heart rate variability in children with carditis against the background of CMV infection

Abstract

We showed that in children with carditis against the background of CMV infection a violation of autonomic regulation in the form of tension of functioning of sympathetic autonomic nervous system, manifested by decreased activity of the parasympathetic and suprasegmental influences, and the relative increase of activity of the vasomotor center was registered. Reduced humoral-metabolic effects in children with carditis against the background of CMV infection has been accompanied by depletion of autonomic nervous system activity.
