O trabalho no universo indo-europeu: uma interpretação etimológico-onomástica
Abstract
This article aims at the propositional recovery of the social, primitive, structures of some indo-european people, from their social relationships based on work. In order to achieve such aim, this article has as main theoretical supports not only the concept of Philology according to Bassetto (2001) and the concept of etymology according to Alinei (1995), but also the onomasiological method, used by Buck in his A dictionary of selected synonyms in the principal Indo-European languages: A contribution to the history of ideas, corpus of this article. Thus, as a result of such theoretical combination, to assert that the indo-european communities had three social structures of work – positive work, negative work and positive-negative work – seems to be plausible.
