Two Examples of Application of TOPSIS to Decision Making Problems

Abstract

In this work, we apply the Technique to Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) to two case studies. The first example is concerned with the evaluation of the best response alternatives in case of accidental oil spill in the sea. The second example considers the rental evaluation of residential properties. Simulations results are promising and show the feasibility of the technique.
