Entre el pastor evangélico y el dirigente indígena: discursos religiosos y políticos en dos “comunidades” Mapuche del sur de Chile
Abstract
The present article Mapuche thinks about the presence of the Churches pentecostales in territory using testimonies of two leaders simultaneously spiritual and religious of this people, which they live the rural zone. He proposes in addition to the evangelical Church as a new center of formation of political and religious leaders, ecclesiastic space from which a "Universe is constructed indeed pentecostal”, from which the nearby environment is lived and interprets. The ritual of the Nguillatún appears as the excellent space of the definition and construction of "Mapuche " and as a tension space between evangelical and non-evangelical. Some continuities are explored finally between the pentecostalismo and the mapuchidad at present
