Investigation of the structure, incidence, and concentration of the microorganisms vegetating on the lacunal mucosa of the palatine tonsils was carried out. Based on the data obtained, the priority pathogenes were determined: Streptococcus (group D) and E. faecalis. Studying the degree of lacunal mucosa sowing with microorganisms enabled elaboration of criteria to assess efficiency of the treatment applied.
