Hunter-gatherers that inhabited the Low Paraná wetland during the end of the Holocene produced a large amount of pottery. It has been proposed the existence of two lineages that present differences in the way of exploitation of the environment and different proportions of incised pottery, among other features. In this sense, the site El Cazador 3 can be linked to the group that features predominantly plain pottery. The main goal of this article is to analyse the morphology and decorative techniques of the pottery to compare them with other sites in the area. The analysis has allowed us to see that the morphological variables reflect similar traits to other collections in the area as a result of a shared learning process, whereas the decorative variables show greater intra and intersite variability as a result of individual choices and low social normativity
