A vein of cancrinite-sodalite pegmatite was mined in the western slope of Mount Kobelikha, in the bench bottom of the open pit of the Vishnevogorsk deposit, South Urals. Forty three minerals were found in the vein including several species, which require additional studies. One of the prospective minerals is cowlesite CaAl2 Si3 O10•6H2 O, which has not yet been recorded in the Urals. It is concluded that the vein was directly crystallized from the melt and was further zeolitized.
