STATISTICAL INDICATORS OF ANALYSIS AND MONITORING OF THE PUBLIC PENSION SYSTEM

Abstract

The system of statistical indicators identified in this article to monitor the payment risks of the public pension system may be approved and used by public authorities for the permanent and regular supervision of pension liabilities and for assessing long-term payment risks that may affect the sustainability of the pension system to ensure continuity between generations.We mention that there are several indicators used to monitor the sustainability of the pension system, but those identified in the research process are the most appropriate for the Republic of Moldova. Appropriate sustainability monitoring should take into account all aspects of sustainability, especially those of a financial and social nature. Therefore, public authorities should establish a set of indicators that will be used to assess the sustainability of pension systems
