Development of communication competencies in a Virtual Reality environment – looking for optimisation

Abstract

The article presents a recommendation to enrich the education of teachers and trainers with a hybrid approach to teaching using an immersive virtual environment (virtual reality, VR), which is a complementary solution for traditional training and e-learning courses. The pros and cons of using virtual reality headsets are discussed here for teacher education and the trainer training process. The article presents the results of the project called: „Collaborative Virtual Reality platform for e-learning: Teaching Communication” (COViR)
