Prehľad krúžkovania vtákov na Slovensku za rok 2016 / Bird-ringing results in Slovakia in 2016

Abstract

In 2016, 57 ringers ringed altogether 59,352, of them 5,712 were nestlings. That number was 4.38 % lower compare to 2015. The ringed birds belonged to 154 species. The most numerous ringed species were Great Tit (Parus major, 6,891 individuals), Barn Swallow (Hirundo rustica, 6,729 ind.), Blackcap (Sylvia atricapilla, 5,311 ind.), Eurasian Siskin (Carduelis spinus, 5,110 ind.), Blue Tit (Cyanistes caeruleus, 3,763 ind.), European Robin (Erithacus rubecula, 3,227 ind.). The colour ringed schemes in Slovakia are given. Altogether 572 abroad recoveries were registered, out of them were 125 individuals re-trapped in Slovakia and ringed abroad, 447 idividuals ringed in Slovakia re-trapped abroad.
