In 1971, eight stained-glass windows were placed in the Camarín of the Virgin of Victory of Malaga by the Maumejean Stained-Glass House, created in 1860 in the French city of Pau. From 1898, the Maumejean brothers founded several workshops in Spain, which will become the most important suppliers for both public and private buildings. The stained-glass windows in the Camarín of the sanctuary of the patron saint of the city of Malaga, one of the most important works of the Spanish Baroque, were made assuming a neo-baroque aesthetic, which copies pictures from the Prado Museum, two of which are deposited in the Malaga Museum. Its iconography was based on scenes from the life of the Virgin, chosen from the Mysteries of the Holy Rosary.
