The occurrence of a gall maker, Resseliella salvadorae (Rao), (Diptera: Cecidomyiidae) and its parasitoid on widely distributed medically important plant Salvadora persica L (Salvadoraceae) from Sudan is recorded for the first time. The life stages of the gall maker and parasitoid captured with digital microscope and the exomorphology of the galls on leaf and stem is also provided.
