In the article methodical provisions on formation of the basic data providing a full and objective assessment of technical condition of existing ASO, being in operation outside a guaranteed life are considered. It is shown that the statistical analysis of refusals and the malfunctions accumulated for the certain period of time during operation of ASO on objects of protection has to make a basis of formation of basic data. By results of the analysis calculations are carried out and graphic dependences of intensity of malfunctions for each subsystem of ASO are received. The assessment of their reliability is carried out. Besides, the statistical model of change of level of reliability of ASO is developed at long operation. It is shown that at long operation of ASO density of distribution of intensity of malfunctions of its subsystems is described by superposition of two laws: exponential law and law of distribution of Veybull.
