Influencing Organizational Factors on Employability in Public Organizations

Nowadays, organizations to success in global competition, to provide new and qualified products and services and employment of versatile workforce, in context of new public management, have restructured through reengineering, downsizing, and outsourcing processes. However, these developments have caused changes in psychological contracts, employment relationships and transition from permanent employment to contract-based employment which in employees’ points of view has endangered their job security. The concept of employability is noticed for confronting with insecurity in employment. In other discussion, it is in replace of job security. So, this article is trying to seek an answer for this question: which organizational factors influence on employability? This research is a survey research based on correlation method using sampling. The volume of sample is 12 organizations regard to classified sampling method with the volume of 450 people. The results of research showed that training and development, performance evaluation and employee moves impact on employability. But this factors are not appropriate in public organizations.
