Purpose. The authors of the article try to determine the directions of realization of the potential of philosophical anthropology for neuroscience, the possibility of qualitative renewal of neuroscience on the basis of this potential. The novelty of this research lies in the fact that philosophical anthropology, extrapolating its updated content to neuroscience, verbalizes problems that are at the intersection of these scientific directions. Methodology. The methodology of this study is based on the analysis and generalization of scientific research works of foreign and domestic scientists in the field of neurosciences, philosophy of education, teaching theory, philosophical anthropology, information and knowledge development of modern society. The research methodology includes hermeneutic, systemic, comparative methods. Results. Neurosciences and philosophical anthropology have a vast scientific field: data interpretation criteria, the possibility of neural networks influencing our choices, the interaction of mind and emotions, the problem of will and responsibility, ethical problems of brain stimulation, psychopharmacology and the problem of human improvement. Philosophical anthropology evaluates the directions of activity of neurosciences from the ethical and axiological positions. The problem of lifelong education, distance education requires not only a well-thought-out strategy on the part of pedagogy and philosophy of education, but must also be solved through the prism of individual (cognitive and personal) characteristics of a person: an assessment of his cognitive learning style, chronotype, values and beliefs. Practical implications. The research results can be applied in the field of education and social design.
