As publishers, it is our privilege to announce the launch of the first number of the Portuguese Journal of Behavioral and Social Research (PJBSR). The PJBSR arises from a process that involved many wills that have intersected and builded together. From the coupling of our perspectives, the PJBSR honors the scientific and educational tradition of Miguel Torga Institute in its 78-year history and the mission of the recent Department of Research & Development.
