La historia doble de Villa Clarín: Violencia y desarraigo- resiliencia y asistencialismo
Abstract
This article presents partial results of a research process that takes four years in the community of Villa Clarin, which from an administrative point of political view has been considered as a neighborhood of Palermo, district of the municipality of Sitio Nuevo, Magdalena, but it is separated from it by more than two hundred meters away, parallel to the Caño Clarín and Barranquilla-Bog road. The research problem revolved around the study of extreme poverty of its people and the purpose of the research was the historical reconstruction based on the oral tradition, but also the realization of a sociological analysis of this, which was conducted from the perspective of dialogic Sociology. As research method dialogic approach and type of research was developed Participatory Action Research, IAP was used. The results show that there are four axes of socio-logical history of Villa Clarin: Political violence and neglect of the state, resilience and marginalization, welfarism and deja-dismo and rootlessness and individualism. The findings show that the population develops in a rural-urban dynamics, which in itself should not be seen as something negative, it can be the framework for generating processes of building a proposal for potential social and human development to take advantage of these characteristics. The title of Double History evokes several dualities of its history, as the rural-urban relationship, the version of the origin of the people for political confict, or spontaneous processes of settlement and development approaches, between welfarism and resilience.
