European Law on Zoning and on Project Approvals in the Czech Republic

Abstract

Study of Early Application of Supranational Law in a New Member State There is case law in Czech administrative courts regarding the participation of the public on zoning and project approvals based on the application of European Community law. Reading these judgments, however, reveals an uncertainty related to the application of this supranational law in the Czech Republic. This paper describes and analyses the grounds, consequences, and possible solutions of this situation.
