Gingival epithelioid haemangioendothelioma: A case report

Abstract

Epithelioid haemangioendothelioma (EHE) is an extremely rare low-to-moderate-grade malignant tumour of vascular origin that occurs in the oral cavity as a mass. We report a case in a 41-year-old female. This case demonstrates that this rare disease can also present as “canker ulcers”, adding to the clinical difficulties for dentists. Dentists should be aware of this disease, even if it is rare.
