Research advances in NETs and acute respiratory distress syndrome

Abstract

Neutrophil extracellular traps (NETs) are novel antibacterial method, which in overdose may directly or indirectly cause lung injury and promote inflammatory responses. NETs are closely related to the progression of acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) and may provide new clues for the treatment of ARDS.
