Strong plasmon-molecule coupling at the nanoscale revealed by first-principles modeling

Abstract

Light-matter interaction is described by many different approaches and approximations depending on the coupling strength. Here the authors model a plasmonic system of aluminum nanoparticle interacting with benzene molecules using TDDFT and show its validity to a strong plasmon-molecule coupling regime.
