The experience of organizing temporary exhibits of the succulents of the Peter the Great Botanical Garden's collections in the educational activities of the BIN RAS

Abstract

The article describes organization of temporary thematic exhibitions in the Peter the Great Botanical Garden featuring the plants from the reserve collection of succulents, which usually stay inaccessible for general public. The number and themes of exhibits, the grounds they were held on, description of plants and materials used. The concepts and goals of temporary exhibits, their role in popularization of botanical knowledge and educational activity.
