The article discusses the possibility of strengthening nanostructured hydroxyapatite obtained by precipitation from a solution by introducing reinforcing additives of aluminum oxide and zirconium oxide. The influence of the amount of the added additive and the annealing temperature on the linear shrinkage, morphology and microhardness of the material was evaluated. It was found that the sample has the maximum strength characteristics, a dense uniform structure with a high degree of crystallinity Ca10(PO4)6(OH)2 — 15%Al2O3 — 5%ZrO2 . The composite of this composition is a promising material for further research in order to introduce it into medical practice.
