Abstract
To prevent occupational accidents and occupational diseases Occupational Health and Safety Law No. 6331 came into force on 20 June 2012. The law was prepared on the basis of proactive approach by considering all fields of activities and all employees from both public and private sector. Both this law and the “Occupational Health and Safety Risk Assessment Regulation” which issued on the basis of this subject obliged employers to make or have a risk assessment at all workplaces. In this study, risk assessment with Fine-Kinney method is examined in the administrative buildings of a large-scale production enterprise. A checklist (hazards) has been developed for each of the 7 types of places in the buildings: office, corridor, WC, tea house, meeting room, training hall and elevator. A total of 110 hazards were analyzed for 311 locations, and 1,199 risk assessments were performed using Fine-Kinney method. It was determined that hazards in the high risk category are 34.36% in offices and 12.43% in corridors
