Approximation theorems for the Gauss-Weierstrass singular integral

Abstract

In this paper we present three approximation theorems for the Gauss-Weierstrass singular integral in the spaces Lp (1 ≤ p < ∞), C and Hölder spaces. Those theorems generalize and improve the results for the Gauss-Weierstrass singular integral given in [1]-[3].
