Pachakuti: un análisis revisitado de las transformaciones del imaginario de nación

Abstract

Some of the issues raised in the book entitled Pachakuti: el retorno de la nación [2014] about the symbolic transformations introduced by the Movimiento al Socialismo (MAS) government (2006-2019) concerning the construction of a personality cult, the adoption and use of certain national symbols, and the change of the state mode, are analysed in light of the events leading to fall of President Evo Morales in November 2019 and the establishment of a transitional government in Bolivia.
