Determination of machine parts technical state (diagnostic checking)

Abstract

Diagnostic checking of machine parts and systems is a very important overhaul and regeneration operation; based on its results appropriate regeneration or repair procedures are carried out. The up-to-date diagnostic methods are presented, direct (using technical measurements) as well as indirect ones. The brief survey of their most important characteristics, advantages and disadvantages is given as well.
