Primary Intraosseous Squamous Cell Carcinoma (PIOSCC) is a rare malignancy of the jaws which is believed to develop from the remnants of odontogenic epithelial cells with no original connection with the oral mucosa. The solid-type PIOSCC is characterised by developing de novo with no evidence of pre-existing oral or dental lesion. In this article, we present a rare case of a solid-type PIOSCC of the mandible in a middle-aged female and highlight its radiological and histopathological features, thereby, educating dentists and medical practitioners about the malignant nature of the disease.
